Digging around, I found some great match books from old Hawaiian hotels. I must say I enjoy these little time capsules of images. I doubt these hotels exist as they did when the matchbooks were produced. Anyone have old pictures of these hotels, it would be cool to see these what they looked like when the matchbooks came out.

August 24th, 2009 by BrianI snapped off a few photos from the Ho’olaule’a event this past weekend. Had chance to listen to Titus Napoleon play while a hula halau performed.
Doug Horne and “Crazy” Al Evans set up and served up their wares and talent. Doug’s style is great and in particularly I dig his retro polynesian pop architecture images.
Talk about some great carvings. Al’s ”Screamin’ Tiki” is now part of the collection.
